Overview

Taha is a ride-hailing service operating in Iraq, built for both sides of the trip rather than treating the driver as an afterthought.

A rider sets pickup and destination and sees the fare before confirming, which removes the negotiation that usually starts a journey.

Drivers get their own view of incoming requests and earnings, since the people using an app all day decide whether it survives.

The interface was kept deliberately plain, and the app reached a large user base quickly as a result.
